We are pleased to present the Hi-Line Rooftop Bar, the Crown Resort’s new rooftop bar in Perth, Australia, where Impertek’s Balance pedestals have been used to support 600 square metres of luxury flooring.
Crown Perth opened in 1985 and, today, it runs three hotels, with more than 1,000 rooms, luxury suites and villas, a golf course, a world-class convention centre, a theatre, gaming rooms, and private spa facilities for guests. The complex also houses a large number of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and luxury retail outlets.
The Hi-Line Rooftop Bar, located on a terrace of nearly 1,000 square metres with a panoramic view of the city’s beautiful skyline, is an extremely relaxing setting, where guests can enjoy spending time in an elegant and spacious outdoor area, with wooden and thin white or black iron structures, simple geometric shapes, stools and armchairs lit by light bulbs on wires that alternate with evergreen plants and parasols.
The flooring is made of wide tiles in dark and light grey porcelain measuring 600x600x20mm, covering over 600 square metres. Beneath these tiles, there are as many as 2,300 adjustable supports of the Pedestal Line by Impertek, with a Balance self-levelling head (which automatically corrects ground slopes by up to 5% to obtain perfectly levelled final flooring), heads with specific wings for stone floorings and heads designed for decking floorings, CP slope correctors and clips to construct perfect steps and vertical fixing.
The use of Impertek Supports in this project has overcome the large number of obstacles already insitu, namely the basket grates, electrical boxes, conduit piping as well as variation of floor gradients and fall directions. The use of Impertek Balance Supports has achieved a perfectly level flooring across the entire expanse.
